I am thrilled to join the AzDA Cares Foundation as its new Foundation Director! Today marks not just a new chapter in my career, but a fresh and exciting start for the Foundation as well. I am eager to leverage my extensive experience and deep-rooted passion for community service for a cause that resonates with me personally: ensuring that every individual in Arizona has access to excellent oral health. This opportunity allows me to champion a cause that is essential to overall well-being by actively listening to the needs of the community where help is needed most.

In my previous role, I’m proud to have led the creation of a $2.5 million endowment that secured the future funding of legal aid organizations. This wasn’t just a financial achievement; it was a strategic move that bolstered the organization’s financial stability, allowing us to expand access to justice for countless individuals in need significantly. It was deeply rewarding to witness how these funds translated into real-world impact, providing critical support to those who otherwise would have been left without legal recourse. Here at the AzDA Cares Foundation, I’m determined to replicate and build upon that success, this time focusing on the vital issue of oral health. I envision a future where every Arizonan, regardless of their socioeconomic status, can access the dental care they need to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

For over 20 years, I’ve dedicated myself to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. From my work in growing the Arizona Society of CPAs into a thriving and influential organization to my efforts in supporting families at the Watts Family Maryvale YMCA, my focus has always been on creating opportunities for those who need them most. These experiences have taught me that with the right resources and a committed team, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges. Now, as your AzDA Cares Foundation Director, I’m eager to take on this new challenge: directly impacting the health and well-being of marginalized families and individuals by providing access to critical dental care. This is more than just a professional role for me—it’s a mission I am passionate about.
