Our Story
Founded in 2022, the AzDA Cares Foundation is the result of a powerful merger between the Arizona Dental Foundation and the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation. United by a shared passion for oral health, we’ve been serving Arizona communities for decades. Our mission remains steadfast: to prevent dental disease, provide education, and deliver compassionate dental care to underserved Arizonans.
Our Journey
How We Got Here
The Arizona Dental Foundation, established in 1987, and the Central Arizona Dental Society Foundation, launched in 2011, were both pioneers in promoting oral health in Arizona. Over the years, our programs have reached thousands of individuals, providing crucial dental services and promoting oral health awareness.
In 2022, we merged to create AzDA Cares—a united foundation with a shared passion for improving lives through oral health. Our new chapter carries forward the legacy of our founding organizations, continuing their mission with greater resources and impact.
Where We Are Today: A Legacy of Impact
Today, AzDA Cares stands as a vital force for oral health across Arizona. Our programs reach thousands of individuals, offering dental care to children, families, and underserved communities. Through initiatives like Give Kids a Smile, Oral Cancer Walk, TeamSmile, Special Smiles/Olympics, and regional collaborations, we actively fight dental disease, provide education, and create healthier futures.
